Milos and his crew from Floor It San Diego did a great job on my Laminate floors. They removed my carpet and layers of old flooring in my 96 year old house, repaired some bad boards from the sub flooring, installed the new floor, and new baseboards in two days. They even painted the baseboards to match the existing molding and trim in the house. Milos also tiled in a small area between my kitchen and bathroom, doing a great job that flowed with the existing tile perfectly. The price beat a quote I got from a General Contractor who was doing insurance repair work due to water damage in my bathroom and surrounding areas. Actually the price was about half of what the Contractor quoted, and the General Contractor’s price did not include new baseboards. It has been 9 months since the work was done, and the floors are great – no squeaks, no cracks, no problems. Milos was professional, courteous, friendly, and reliable. He brought samples to me, and made the entire process easy and painless.

Excellent Service and excellent job. Milos the owner is very informative and helpful. We started at Home Depot, and learned a lot, and did a measurement to get Home Depots costs using the Best Pergo they had.
Then I called Milos, Friday night after 6PM, he answered, and spent about 25 minutes on the phone with me, again, very knowledgeable, he said he could install the materials from Home Depot if I preferred but he also told me about other higher-end laminates. He suggested I go to their website(s) and look it over myself. Good call, as the laminate that we used is higher rated and a much better product. Milos having taken the time to offer so much info and guidance on a Friday night sold me on setting up an appointment, which he did promptly and on time, in fact next day. Milos again was very professional and informative and upfront with the costs.
His price for materials and labor was less then Home Depot and we got Quickstep Laminate which I think is superior. Plus, we got to work with him (someone we already met) instead of some installer from Home Depot. That is one thing I dislike (a lot) about having Home Depot do any installing, you never know who you will get or who it is, I prefer to at least meet the crew/person that is doing the work.
The install went very well, I could tell they knew what they were doing, the floor turned out beautiful. We did the entire condo, excluding bathrooms and kitchen, so it was not a small job with all the closets too. I also had them do the baseboards, we have bull nose corners so that job is harder then some, but wow, they did an AWESOME job on the base boards, and at a REALLY good price. So if you are getting flooring you must get new baseboards, best decision we made.
I also had a very tight schedule as the job was a rental, so I had to have a set start and end date for the work, Milos committed to my start date 3 weeks out and finished the job in 2 days as I hoped.
One last thing, after a beautiful install I noticed one board at a transition to the kitchen (tiled) made a squeak noise. So each time I walked to the kitchen it creaked. I asked Milos about it and he sent a guy out the next day, they suspected what the issue was, and sure enough, it was a simple thing, the transition strip had a small ooze of glue that was touching the board and causing the creak. He replaced the transition strip, and bam, as good as new and no creak.
Overall a very high rating for a job well done, and you gotta like Milos, super guy and won’t steer you wrong.
